Another month another walk, 13 of us this time. “No, 14” says the backmarker, “no 13” says I.

After several recounts I realise I had not counted myself!

Oops!

Things can only get better can’t they?

Where the heck is that footpath sign it’s shown on the map.

Ah there it is conveniently hidden behind that thorn bush.

That definitely is a bull in that field and not only a bull but a bull with horns and a look in his eye that says come in here if you dare.

I didn’t really want to go that way anyway!

My that wind’s getting up. Aye up, its just blown Fred’s glasses off his head and clear across the valley.

Good job he had a spare pair.

Don’t you lot go that way the map clearly shows the path going the other way.

What do you mean that isn’t where we are?

Back home and feet up with a good cup of tea.
