Group Updates cont’d
We meet at 2 p.m. at St Robert's Centre on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, and all are welcome.
Members have been asked to consider subjects that might be investigated by teams of two or three people.
Subjects that have already been suggested but not yet taken up are:-
1. The benefits of taking aspirin regularly to reduce the risk of cancer
2. Reducing the onset of aging in mice.
3. Electric cars, can they take over?
4. Digital Revolution in Africa e.g. Zambia.
Hopefully a few members will volunteer to try out the idea.

Started again on 13th January. We still meet at Grosvenor House on the second Thursday afternoon in the month. We play according to the rules on the box with the following exceptions:
1. Every player has access to a sheet of two letter words -
2. A player may ask to have a word checked in the Scrabble dictionary, BEFORE playing
the word-
I hope this may clear up any misunderstanding as to the type of Scrabble we play. We have all standards of players and we aim to play two games per session on a "mix and match" basis, and if they wish, beginners may receive help or advice from more experienced players.
Our aim is to improve and above all, to enjoy the game.
