There was a wide range of experience including members who had not yet begun. In the spirit of U3A we exchanged information and ideas and will continue as a self-help group, meeting in the afternoon on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

The next meeting, on Thursday November 11th, is at the Harrogate Family History Centre, Wetherby Road, (part of the Library of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints), meeting at 2.30pm, where a member of the group will introduce us to the available resources.

The December meeting has been brought forward a week so that members of the group can attend the U3A Christmas Lunch. We will meet therefore at the Community Centre on East Parade from 2pm till 4pm on Thursday December 2nd. Email: for more information
