We are a small friendly group, who enjoy going out to various places by public transport. We meet at various times of the day depending on where we are going, and on some occasions we have lunch before venturing out to do some sketching. We don't have a tutor, and we are all struggling, but the main purpose of the group is enjoyment of a shared interest. You don't have to be an expert, and nobody is forced to show other members their sketches. We finish the afternoon with a cup of tea at a nearby cafe.
Our planning meeting is taking place at the Three Horseshoes pub in Killinghall at 1.00pm. We are meeting inside the pub, so if anyone would like to come along, we will be delighted to see you. We have lunch first and then plan our next years programme.
Unlike most of the groups we have plenty of room for new members. As I have already
pointed out, please don't be put off it you aren't an expert -

Term will stop a bit later than planned at Jennyfield because of the use of the Hall as a polling station. Additionally the Hall was again unable to be used the following week owing to decorating! Members will be kept informed and term will continue to make up. Bilton hopefully will continue as planned. I apologise for the disruption which was beyond our control and hope that members will understand. Please contact Val if clarification is needed.
Next term will start at Bilton on Monday, 20th September and at Jennyfield on Thursday 23rd September. Please email
